Talking about Strangers

Last night Liam, Maggie and I went somewhere. When we got back to the car in the parking lot, it was dark. I told Liam to stay by my side because I didn’t want him to get hit by a car and I didn’t want a stranger to get him. He took off to the other door on the other side of the car before I had finished putting Maggie’s carseat straps on her. Quickly I go after him and I reitterate why it is so important to stay with Mommy.

Me: Liam, you don’t want to get hit by a car and you don’t want a stranger to get you.

Liam: I’ll cut a stranger.
